Nokia N95 Comes to the US

I have to admit, I'm a bit confused by the Nokia N95. The $749 smart phone will soon be making its US debut, where it will join the scores of other phones (including the upcoming iPhone, of course), that do a whole lot of things at once: phone calls, photos, video, multimedia playback, GPS, Internet access…the N95 certainly has some nice-looking specifications up front that might set it apart from the competition (built-in WiFi, Carl Zeiss optics and a 5 megapixel camera, Java support), but I have to wonder why a phone that costs this much uses a sliding design reminiscent of the LG Chocolate. Why not just go full throttle and include a QWERTY keyboard, even if the N95 isn't meant for the PDA set? Aren't QWERTY keypads just easier to use when you're using all of the other functions this phone offers?
