Nikon COOLPIX S52 Series
Nikon has recently made headlines with the release of their S60 series and P6000 cameras. I would not discount these cameras, but I definitely want to take the time to highlight the S52 and S52c, a series that came out a few months ago.
The Nikon COOLPIX S52 series have 9.0 megapixels, a 3x optical zoom, 38-114 Zoom-NIKKOR lens, Optical Vibration Reduction (VR) Image Stabilization, and manual sensitivity settings high as ISO 3200.
I also found out that the COOLPIX S52 has WiFi connectivity. That means that if a picture is taken, it can be sent via email. All you need is an email address and an access point, and your picture will appear on the Nikon mypicturetown site.
You should be able to get the S52 for $249.95, and the S52c for $279.95.
