Next Generation TVnet home networking by Coaxsys & STMicro

A little bird told me that Coaxsys and STMicro will make a nice show at the CES, by showing a 200Mbps Ethernet-over-Coax home networking technology.
"The Coaxsys' TVnet 2X demo operates at a sustained throughput of 197
Mbps. This is not an exaggerated figure, and it is not a Phy rate. Other technologies have overstated their throughput claims to bolster
their marketing message, but when Coaxsys says 200 Mbps, you can actually see our demo with a sustained payload throughput of 197 Mbps."
Gary Hoffman, Coaxsys VP of Business Development, comments: "Year-to-date Coaxsys has deployed tens of thousands of TVnet adapters for voice, video, and data with more than sixty service providers. This 200Mbps demonstration with ST proves our commitment to meeting operators' future needs for next-generation products and licensing opportunities for set-top box and semiconductor manufacturers."
There will also be a demonstration of the TVnet 2X at the Consumer Electronics Show.
