Sony Ericsson announced today the new K610im, a cellphone which was made thinking about 3G and using GSM/UMTS to its full potential by featuring easier to use i-mode applications like iMail, Web browsing and iMMS.
The Carbon Black casing makes it stand out from other cellphones, another specification that will sure make it a good buying option is the weight, only 89 grams. It has a 2Megapixel camera for the everyday photos which can be sent as an e-mail afterwards. Memory Stick
included with 64MB of memory, but this can be upgraded to 1GB.
For the media part, it supports the following audio formats: MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+ that can be played using the Music DJ software. For video we got MFi and MP4 which will work with VideoDJ.
USB 2.0 is (of course) present and another extra feature is charging via USB.
Altogether, it is a good choice as a small, stylish, good, functional, 3G cellphone, with plenty of features to take advantage of.
