New Samsung SmartPhone to hit US Shores

Samsung has announced that they've filed an application with the FCC to bring their new smartphone, the SGH-i320 to the US. The i320, which is expected to make its debut during this quarter in Europe, is a Blackberry-style device that's intended to compete directly with the Motorola Q, also launching soon. Sporting 120 MB of onboard memory, a microSD drive for memory expansion, a 1.3 megapixel camera, QVGA screen and the Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system, the i320 is smaller and thinner than the Q and weighs about 3 and 1/3rd ounces. Look for these slick-looking phones to hit American shores around the holiday season.
