Today was the great day for all the Apple fans, the event "It's Showtime" brought new iPods, new software and new hardware. One of the improved devices that got a new look and functionality is the iPod Shuffle with Apple claiming that it is the world's smallest digital music player, interesting rumor.

The new iPod Shuffle costs $79 and the player contains 1GB of memory, measures 1,62-inches and the battery life is suppose to last up to 12 hours of continuous play, lets hope it doesn't get hot and burn. In terms of new functionality we have a built-in clip to attach the player on a bag, pants, or wherever you want, making it really a free hands device The whole package includes the iPod Shuffle, earphones and a dock.
