I'm beginning to feel like the days of going to a video store to get a movie are drawing to a close. After all, companies like Netflix allow movies to be sent to your door, or even downloaded onto your computer.
One necessary step in this transition could be the Roku, a set-top box that allows a user the ability to stream over 10,000 movies. It does not use any discs or hard drive, and the films come with very little waiting.
Yes, video stores, your days are numbered. The Roku device itself is available for about $99, but it requires a subscription to NetFlix which is about $9 a month.
