myvu Give You and Your iPod a New Look

It may give weird flashbacks to the VR goggles of the early 90s, but for anyone who's tired of watching videos on their small video iPod screen, these glasses may be the way to go. Made by MicroOptical, the myvu personal media viewer is a thin set of eyeware that allows the viewer to watch videos from NTSC and PAL media players like the Apple iPod and creative labs Zen while still being able to walk around and not bump into anything. The effect is equivalent to watching video clips on a 27" TV, although it can be disorienting if the glasses aren't sitting properly on your face. The device isn't cheap, either: $269 for the pleasure of not holding your iPod up to your face.
