Mouse and SDHC Card Reader Join Forces to Free Desktop
Multipurpose devices really are the way to go. The Swiss were onto something when they developed that little army knife of theirs. That is why it just kills me when some desktop gadgets are so single-purposed that they make themselves obsolete before they even get started. That is not the case with this mouse / disk reader from USB gadget guru-site Brando.

The combo disk reader and USB mouse is capable of reading SDHC, SD, microSD, microSDHC and miniSD (with the appropriate adapters). It might seem like a small improvement, but the mouse only runs $15. If you are going to buy a mouse, you should be on the hunt for one like this that does as much as possible.

With USB ports and desktop real estate becoming more and more precious, the more synergistic devices can get the better. I would love to see the next version ship with wireless USB support so that I could even lose the cable.
