Motorola RAZR V3c Now At Verizon Wireless

Yesterday I was excited when the fedex
guy arrived. He was carrying my new Motorola RAZR V3c that I bought from Verizon! I've been a Verizon customer for a few years, so it was time for an upgrade from my Treo 650, also I broke the dumb thing at work last week. Last Friday, Dec 9th, was the first day the RAZR V3c was available to Verizon Wireless customers.
Everything was in the box, so here's a break down of the Pros and Cons of this phone:
Pros:
Small, light weight form factor. Very Stylish. Large Display. Excellent Voice Recognition Software. In fact, after I took it to my local Verizon Wireless store to transfer my contacts from my Treo 650, I didn't have to program voice commands for each contact. You push the button on the right side of the phone, or your Bluetooth Headset, say "Call - Name or Number" and away it goes! I only had one contact that it thought was another because of similar spelling, but even then it asked me if it had the contact correct and when I said no, it offered another possibility. I already mention Bluetooth, which is a must these days! The built in Mic and Speaker are very well designed. Even on the Highway yesterday I was able to hear and be heard clearly, something that was difficult with the Treo 650. Finally, Web content is good, but I don't currently have access to VCast in my area, so it's pretty standard stuff.
Cons:
Limited VCast coverage to take full advantage of the phones capabilities. A 1.3 Mega-pixel Cam. For the price of this phone it should include at least a 2 MP cam. However, the video it takes is OK. Size, I know I said the was a Pro, but it may also be a Con because it's so small you might forget it's in your pocket.
Even though I am loosing the email functionality of my Treo 650 I am gaining a much better phone. After all, if it doesn't work great as a phone why bother!
Here's the links for more info from Motorola and Verizon. If you're looking for a new phone, this is definitely worth considering. As a special offer, Verizon has a $100 off instant rebate on-line.
