More Retro Gadgets - Cassette Tape USB Hub
For my younger readers, the object in this photo is a cassette tape. You see, in the olden days, people didn't buy music online, or even on CD; they used a cassette tape. Before that, cassette tapes were the medium of choice for saving computer data such as programs written in BASIC or FORTRAN. Ah, those were the good 'ol days.

If you are interested in reliving the old ways, or if you have a collection of antiquated magnetic storage devices, then this USB hub might be just what you are looking for. Personally, I like it because it is just campy enough to be cool, but it is also very unique.

The hub runs approximately $23. This seems a bit much for a simple four port USB hub, but I think the unique design makes it very worthwhile. Now, if I could only get a vinyl record mouse pad and a 8 Track case mod for my mac mini. I would be the ultimate in sheik geek.
