For the gadget-equiped traveller, security has become a nightmare. While I was on vacation, I saw business travelers have to unpack a laptop, projector, cell-phone, PDA, MP3 player and all the required cables and place them into those gray tubs of doom. For those of you in a similar situation, the Transportation Safety Administration and MobileEdge are working together to relieve your pain. They have introduced TSA friendly laptop cases.

MobileEdge's ScanFast collection for laptops and other gadgets features a backpack, messenger bag, and briefcase that have been designed to be easily searched and X-Ray'd by TSA agents. The benefit here isn't just piece of mind that your gear and gadgets won't get lost, broken, or stolen, but the new gear bags should also serve to speed up security screening lines.

The bags, which are actually pretty attractive, are set to be released by the end of the summer. If you travel with gadgets, check out the bags. They might be just what you are looking for.
