Disney is launching a new mobile phone service in the US aimed at families. The service will be carried by Sprint Nextel Corp and has a number of features parents may find very appealing. With the service a parent can cut off a child's service until they respond to messages the parents flag as urgent and satellite tracking of the phone is built-in. You can also control who your children talk to and how long they talk. Plans will run from $39.99 a month to $169.99 per month for individuals and family plans will start at $159.99 and go to $249.99. Handsets will start at $59.99. Disney service is available now and can be ordered at www.disneymobile.com and kiosks in malls are planned as well.
