MMC Competitor to USB/SD Cards Announced

Association has developed the MiCard standard as a competitor to the USB/SD cards and are hoping its adoption will be universal enough to someday see the addition of a MiCard port to electronics devices. With a starting capacity of 8 GB and a theoretical upper limit of 2 TB (!) the MiCard certainly has some nice potential, but what may really make it stand out is the insinuation that MiCards are less fragile than their SD counterparts.
