Mini GPS Tracker Makes Stalking Even Easier
Filed in archive GPS by Chris Matier on August 13, 2009
The Trackstick Mini is a small GPS receiver that easily connects to your car and actively records your traveling route. The device itself is about the size of a standard USB flash drive, and comes equipped with two small magnets that secure the device to the car. It also has built-in lithium-ion battery that is easily charged via a USB port in about an hour. The device makers say that the magnets and magnetic boot make it perfect for "covert" applications. In addition to GPS location, the device also monitors and records temperature, altitude, stop times, speed and direction. I can see parents using a device like this to monitor a child's evening out or a fleet manager tracking delivery drivers. The device does come with software that integrates with Google Earth so that photos and routs can be mapped, geotagged and easily shared.
The device sells for $289 and is available now. If you have some stalking tracking to do, than head over to the Trackstick Mini website to check it out.
