It looks like the people behind the Mini decided to make some big decisions and have announced that a new version for Cooper D model is being developed as we speak. This new Cooper D is different from all the other Mini's because it will be like the first one to work with diesel instead of petrol (aka gasoline), expect a 1.6-litre 110hp turbodiesel powerplant that will hopefully make it become one of the best Mini on the market in terms of performance.
In comparison to the outgoing MINI One D's combined fuel consumption of 58.9mpg, the Cooper D is capable of 64.2mpg.
