Microsoft LifeCam VX-6000 Review

Web cams seem to be one of those pieces of computer peripheral technology that were always pretty cool, but didn't catch on because they didn't seem to have much of an everyday function. There's a reason why people aren't hot to trot on getting video phones, for example: you don't want to be tied to one location with people watching you while you talk to them by the phone.
That said, the recent rise of video blogging (aka videocasting) has given webcams a new purpose – now you can use them to record yourself talking about the subject of your videocast and it's possible the old technology might finally come into its own. With that in mind, Gadget Weblog's own Shane McGlaun did a review of Microsoft's newest top-of-the-line webcam, the VX-6000, for Everything USB. What does he think? Well, it sound like webcams still have a bit to go before they're truly useful, but if you're a video blogger, you might want to check this gadget out. You can read the review here.

Camera is okay, but I still think that the Logitech cameras offer much more than Microsoft. On Logitech cameras, the video is more clear, especially when the lighting is bad. Also, they have those funky cartoon face things that are loads of fun.
