stereotype of Miami as the land of drug dealers and drug-crazed teenagers, but what exactly is everybody down there talking about? How it's so much hotter there than anywhere else in the US all year? How Castro is, in fact, a robot from the future who will never die, no matter how much people may wish it so (no joke there - I spotted an article in USA Today when Fidel last got sick in early August about the plans Cuban exiles were making to remake the country in their image when they went back, which they'll do when Castro finally bites the bullet)? It has to be something, because Verizon Wireless just released the results of a study where they determined that the average Miamian makes 9 to 10 cell phone calls a day.
