Alcatel and Lucent, two giant big names on the communications area have merged into one giant company - Alcacent. Just kidding, the name hasn't been decided yet.

Serge Tchuruk, Alcatel's CEO, comments:

Here is an interesting detail that shows which company is more powerful:

Upon completion of the merger, Alcatel shareholders will own approximately 60 percent of the combined company and Lucent shareholders will own approximately 40 percent of the combined company
