Sony - Memory Stick Data Rescue Service

Sony has released a new service - Memory Sticklinks Data Rescue Service - to take care of (read: bring back from the dead) lost/deleted data such as photos and other type of files. It works with all the Sony Memory Stick cards (since '98) and the download of this application it totally free, the only catchy thing is that you'll need register the model name and serial number before the download begins.

So, if you bought a Sony Memory Stick on the Summer of 2000 and by mistake deleted some important photos, go here and download File Rescue.exe.

If you're lucky, the wanted files will still be available for rescue.

Supported files:

  • .jpg

  • MPEG1

  • .mp4

  • Office data files including Powerpoint and Word documents
