Maxian T600 - PMP with Direct Decording from TV

Maxian T600

What's a good way to make a Portable Media Player more useful? Making it capable to directly record TV programs! And that's what the Maxian T600 does.

It will be available next month in black or white, but there's already a few specs that can be seen on Maxian's Site, in which I found the most important to be the following:

  • Playback all kinds of video/audio file formats without transcoding - some players can only play certain kind of fomarts and that sucks..

  • Direct recording from TV/Analogue video source/Camcorder/DVD player/CD player with time recording function - recording videos from almost any place is also good, better yet is the time function

And than there are the usual features which differ less from PMP to PMP, but in this case they are good: a 4 inch wide 16:9 TFT LCD display, Storage Capacity of 20GB/30GB, Dimensions of 139 x 73 x 19 mm, and a Weight of 270g. The only thing that could be better is the Playback Autonomy: 10 hours for music or 6 hours for movie.

View the Official Product Site for more information. Check the Video formats, there are so many..
