Marriot Adds Technology to Cater to Gadget Power Users
Have you ever wanted to plug in your iPod Video or your laptop into a larger screen while you're on vacation? Well, if you're the type who spends a lot of money on a hotel room just to stay inside for your vacation (or you're traveling on business – I'm willing to allow for that), you'll want to stay in a marriott, post renovation efforts. The hotel chain just announced that they're going to be upgrading all of their high-end properties with 32 inch LCDs and "digital connectivity panels" that will allow guests to watch whatever they've recorder on their cameras, uploaded to their iPods or downloaded to their laptops in a large format the whole family (or anyone you grab out of the hallway) can enjoy. I wouldn't call it a reason to stay at a Marriott, but it's a nice perk if you're there already.
