The Macworld Expo will be hosted at The Moscone Center around the San Francisco area between January 9-13, 2006.

Here is some useful information I could gather from the site:

• Steve Jobs (Apple's CEO) will start the Macworld Conference & Expo at 9AM


• What You'll Learn - The latest innovations, tips and tricks are here for you to discover, at the largest independent Macintosh education and training program in the world.
  


• Who Will Be There - Graphic and new media professionals, Mac programmers, Integrators, Consultants, Support personnel, Educators and more


• Why You Should Go - Mac professionals, novices, developers and enthusiasts enjoy the high-energy, community and camaraderie that takes place at Macworld Conference & Expo.

New events and other stuff added for the 2006 Expo:

• Macworld 2006 Auto Show - Ever wondered how to install your iPod and/or your Mac in your vehicle? Want to preview vehicles already equipped with the iPod?


• Music & Audio Pavilion - The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus is a non-profit recording and video production studio outfitted with the latest musical instruments, computers, recording equipment, and video production gear.


• Digital Photography Day - Participate in a "Photo Safari" shoot around San Francisco, and get advice on editing your masterpiece on the Mac in a "Digital Darkroom Session". This goes on from 9am to 5pm, on 10 or 11 January.


• Creative Professional Stage - Learn about the newest Mac solutions and see first-hand product demonstrations, given by exhibitors on the expo floor.


• Berklee Dream Studio - Berklee College of Music presents its "Dream Studio", a state-of-the-art music studio filled with Mac hardware and software to help bring your musical visions to life.

And now the important detail... How much $? Well, there are good news here because you can pick different packages. For example if you only want to attend the "Digital Photography Day", the Early Bid (on or before December 9, 2005) is $199. There are many packages, check them all here
