MacBook Pro Packaging Photos

MacBook Pro Package

Apple started shipping the MacBook Pro's last week and a few packaging photos popped up a day or two later. What's strange about this photos is that they're "said to be internal pics from the Apple campus", and not usual pics that people shoot at home.

Note what many people already said: the package is slim like never before.

There you have it Mac Fans, drool…at flickr with more MacBook Pro Packaging photos.

With the sad state of our environment today, more and more people are taking steps to save the environment. Apple jumped into the bandwagon by releasing environment-friendly MacBooks dubbed as the “greenest MacBook ever.”

So what is inside these MacBooks that helps save the environment? First, let’s see what is not found inside them. The new MacBook has no mercury or arsenic content. Mercury is usually used in CCFL backlights while arsenic is commonly found in LCD monitors. Aside from these, the new MacBook also does not use brominated fire retardants.

The new MacBook is energy efficient. Apple boasts that these new notebook computers uses only one fourth of the energy used to power one light bulb. This is made possible by the creation of MacBook parts that consumes less electricity. Its hard drive automatically slows down when not in use, its display dims when placed in a darkened area and its processor even save power in between keystrokes when typing.

The best thing about this new MacBook is that it is recyclable. When you feel that it’s time for your MacBook to retire, its parts can be recycled and used for other products. This is because they are made of aluminum and glass which are valuable to recyclers. To encourage more people to recycle, Apple is offering recycling services in countries where Apple products are being sold.
