Sound Makers
by Chris Matier on April 15, 2009

The Logitech Ultimate Ears 700 do have some impressive specs: they can block out noise up to 26dB, two high-fidelity channels per ear, and they only weigh 11.6 grams. They are recommended by a ton of rock stars, and I am sure that they are fantastic. The problem is, they cost $229.99. That's right, for the ultimate sound experience from your iPod or my Samsung S5, I am paying nearly $250. I only payed $149 for my media player.
This brings me to my question. How much would you pay on headphones for a personal media player. Someone must be laying down hundreds of dollars for these types of ear-buds, or else Logitech wouldn't be selling them. I have lost, broken, spilled on, or stepped on so many pairs of headphones, I would shoot myself if I broke $200 dollar headphones. So, let's hear it; what is the most you would (or have) spent on headphones?
