Lifting Oven Saves Energy
Until now, I never realized how much I hate normal oven doors. Especially when you open it up, and you get that real hot blast of air.

The Gaggenau BL 253 lift Oven makes that a thing of the past as it lowers your food underneath, and cooks it in the apparatus above. Apparently, this oven always stays hot because heat rises, and so very little ever escapes. Not that is an energy saver that Al Gore will just love!

Unfortunately, it's not a money saver. Right now, it costs $3,300 for the Gaggenau BL 253. You could probably rebuild your entire kitchen for that price.
