LG HS102 – Have Projector; Will Travel
Imagine having a portable projector that is rechargeable and can play media without a computer. This dream projector would also have to have a high contrast ratio, a good resolution, and a small footprint. Oh yeah, and I wouldn't want to pay more than $600 for the thing. If this sounds too much like a fantasy, then LG must be having the same dream I have.
The LG HS102 Ultra Mobile Projector will feature a native 800 X 600 resolution and both 4:3 and 16:9 screen ratios. It also has a built in DiVX player that can decode data off of flash media without the need of a PC. Its PhlatLight LED projection system is capable of a 2,000:1 contrast ratio, and it has a built in rechargeable battery that should live for about two hours. Nice huh?
LG has announced it for South Korea, and it is priced at about US $555. LG has not announced for the states, but I hope they do soon. Moving to South Korea is a drastic step to take to get a new projector.
