LG DVS450H DVD Player is Bringing Sexy Back

The DVS450H DVD player from LG has got to be one of the sleekest and sexiest pieces of electronics that I have ever seen. This HDMI equipped player is prepared to output full 1080p video, and it will do it in style. It has a certain Apple, but better, style that is both futuristic and useful. If a gadget is going to be interesting, it better be useful; the LG DVS450H does it right.

When it hits the street in October, it will retail for about $238. That seems a bit high for a Hi-def DVD player, but keep in mind how sexy it is. For your money, you get DVD playback, DIvX (HD and -H), MP3, WMA, and JPEG compatibility. The unit also will attach, via USB, to an external drive.

The drive, which works both vertically, horizontally, or wall mounted would make a fine addition to any home entertainment system. Let's hope that LG sends it our way and doesn't just keep it out East.
