Personally, I think it is about time. After all, why should our computers and televisions be separate? I watch more TV off my computer these days anyway. Best of all, the 802.11n is designed to handle HD capacity.
Oh, if only we had a price or availability date. We can still dream, and drool.

It can be very cheap for the manufacturers to add wi-fi into any electronic device. But some simply afraid the added feature will cannibalize the major revenue source the devices provide. In the case of cell phones, added wi-fi will cause people use less regular airtime minutes because people can connect to skype to make free calls. In the case of tv, people might browse internet rather than watching tv showing. The viewership goes down and so will the ad revenue.
