Lensbaby Introduces Creative Aperture Kit
Here's a cool idea: a $10 kit that fits into an SLR camera lens and modifies out-of-focus points of light into shapes, like the stars in the picture. Made by a company called Lensbabies, the Creative Aperture Kit fits into the aperture ring of Lensbaby 2.0 and 3G flexible lens systems and works by introducing cutouts shaped like common logo objects (hearts, stars, clovers) into the ring, giving the effect on the picture. The kit comes with two pre-made cutouts and blanks to make five more. The kit is available at Lensbabies.com.
