LEGO Decides Kids Should Have Coolest Camera Ever
Have you seen some of the crappy kid's gadgets out there in the wild? All too often, kid versions of MP3 players, digital cameras, and Video Cameras are clumsy, clunky, and ugly. They are no more appealing to children then they are to the adults that have to fork over cash for them. lego and electronics manufacturer Digital Blue have inked a partnership that will change all of that.
A new line of LEGO branded gadgets will be hitting the streets this summer. The MP3 players and cameras will not actually be made of LEGO bricks, but they will look like it and include real LEGO pieces so that the devices can be customized. It makes sense; if a kid dropped a digital camera and it busted into a million individual blocks, parents would loose it. As an aesthetic, I appreciate the LEGO look. To me, if these products are quality, they might be fun to have around just as conversation starters.
The products, which will run between $19.99 and $59.99, and they should be available by this summer. For that price point, I am afraid they might still work poorly, but at least they will look cool.
