Just Plain Weird

Learning to play guitar is one of those perennial favourites, especially for the teenage crowd. Well a new gadget allows you to do so - apparently - without having to go through the misery of calloused fingers and screaming neighbours.

The Power Tour Guitar from - rofl - Hasbro is a lot like the Guitar Hero game controller, with lots of flashing lights and buttons that will show you where you need to be playing to pump out those power chords. It comes equipped with a strap, cable, DVD instructions and looks remarkably Gibson like. You can even hook it up to your MP3 to play along with your favorite tracks.
Okay, so this is aimed at kids 10+, but I can't help feeling that it might be replaced by an... eh.. guitar. Nevertheless, I'm sure this is a lot of fun and could make for some wild drunken antics as well as kindergarden Nirvana recitals.
