General Cool Stuff
by Jordan Grodecki on November 30, 2009
Ok, so perhaps I've managed to slip behind as of late, but since when was the Kindle a device that was selling well?! I mean, I love the idea, being able to read a massive number of books on the go without having to look at a eye straining screen... but the device itself is expensive, quite bulky and not that attractive. But amazon sales figures are showing that the Kindle is the best selling item on the entire site, pretty fantastic performance really!
I do hope these devices continue to evolve and penetrate the market internationally, I've yet to see one in use over here in the UK...

Everyone has an opinion. For Jordan to state that the Kindle is "is expensive, quite bulky and not that attractive" is really objectionable and untrue point of view. Jordan have you even used one or really looked at the total cost including content discounts or convenience??? For readers like me of of books, blogs, newspapers and magazines it is well worth the $250 price, extremely convenient, light weight and travels well.
