Most people might not know that Kenwood is on the MP3 players market too, but now you know that :) I believe they got in this area last year with the HD20GA7 player - here is a review in case you are interested.
Well, today they released the Media Keg HD30B9, which is like an upgrade to their previous player called HD30A9. Besides the name difference (in one letter), the colors (b9 is available in black while a9 was in cobalt only) and a digital amplifier, there aren't any other differences between them, maybe the price too... Features two software applications to manage the files: Kenwood Media Application or Windows Media Player. Supports MP3, WMA, WMA-DRM9 and Kenwood Lossless audio files that can be transferred to the player via USB 2.0. As for the storage capacity, like the name suggests it has a 30GB hard-drive.
The 2.2-inch TFT color screen has a 240x320 resolution but sadly there is no video playback, at least it's good, simple and very clear to to check the song info on the display. The built-in lithium battery can play up to 20 hours. No accurate information about and when/if it's going to release worldwide.
