Kensington USB Docking Station Makes Laptop Docking Smooth

USB Docking Station has got me very excited. With the docking station, you can dock up to 5 USB devices, a DVI Monitor, and speakers wirelessly. That's right, this little guy will let you dock USB devices and a monitor - wirelessly. All you need to do is pull your Microsoft Windows (Vista or XP) laptop or pc within range, and the docking station connects to provide you all sorts of wireless connection fun. This is a great gadget. I can imagine some very practical uses that go beyond simply hooking a keyboard, mouse, and monitor to a laptop wirelessly. Don't get me wrong, the idea of walking up to this base station and converting a laptop to a desktop instantly is great, but there is much more you could do. For example, you could connect a PC to your home theater system (assuming a DVI connection) along with a wireless keyboard and mouse to create a great home media setup.
If this device interests you (and I am very interested), it is available "soon" to Dell.com and will run $229. The price, and the fact that it is PC only are the only drawbacks. A Mac mini plus the Kensington USB Docking Station would make an absolutely sweet set-up.
