Jeep-Branded Flash Drives

Jeep-Branded Flash Drives
I hear that Jeep enthusiasts are a crazy lot anyway, but this seems a little rediculous: EDGE Tech Corp announced today that they've released four Jeep-branded USB flash drives. The drives, which comes in sizes of 128 MB, 256 MB and 512 MB are branded with the Jeeplinks logo and have a "Tough, Shock Resistant, Waterproof Rubber Exterior" with presumably makes the drives more bad-ass and help "reflect the ruggedness, durability, and style that consumers have come to expect from Jeep vehicles." Both the 128 MB and 512 MB versions also come in pen form, which lacks the rugged case but have a nice looking pen instead.

All of this stuff is fine, but the rediculous part is the price: $55 for the 512 MB drive, or $60 for the pen version. Given that I can get a much nicer SanDisk drive with four times the capacity at about twice the price, I can't see any reason to get these Jeep drives unless you really have a thing for Jeep products.
