Japanese Manufacturers Introduce Motion Phones
If you're a fan of the concept behind the Wiimote; the idea of interacting with your games in ways more exciting than pushing a few buttons while drool drips from your slack lower jaw (eww), you'll probably be interested in a new concept in Japanese cell phones: motion detection. According to CityNews, these new phones allow for games where you play tennis, avoid other cars, ride on skateboardlinks, all controlled by moving the phone. If you're worried these motion-activated devices will spawn a group of mobile gamers who wave their arms in wild circles while they walk, have no fear: the movements are subtle so you can still see the screen while you're playing. If nothing else, it's a cool new way to give yourself motion sickness.
