Personally, this sounds like a recipe for eyestrain headaches. It's bad enough trying to catch up on my casual reading on my Tungsten T3, the thought of trying to read an entire novel on a screen the size of a matchbook almost causes me to go and need a little lie down with a cool cloth over my fevered brow.
It may be a bit more convenient reading japanese characters, but still – I can't imagine it's overly fun. I guess it works, and that's the best thing you can say about it – and hey, as long as the punters are happy, who are we to judge?
