It's the Gadget Equivalent of Finding Your Phone By Calling It
Small gadgets are a double-edged sword - they're easy to carry around because they're so small, but they're easy to lose because they're so small. Enter the Loc8tor, the family of tags from Loc8tor Ltd, which all report back to one cell-phone-sized device, allowing you to find your missing cell phone, PSP, DS, iPod, Zune, camera, car keys, wallet, etc. from up to 600 feet away. The Loc8tor tags also include an area functionality, so you can tag pets and (rather disturbingly) children and know when they've wandered out of acceptable range. Pay a little more and the tags you stick on your kids come equipped with a panic button that they can press when help is needed.

The device isn't cheap - the Plus Pack, which includes the locater device, three homing tags and one panic tag, retails at $179.99 - but if you've ever wish you could call your missing wallet or house keys the way you can your hidden cell phone, here's your chance.
