It’s Gadget of the Year Time, Folks
I guess the venerable Time Magazine, in an effort to be "hip" and "current," has the users of their site vote for the "gadget of the year." Of course, these are the people who I'm pretty sure made the iPod the gadget of the month for two or three months running, so I'm not expecting wonders, but so far the voters at least seem to know what they're talking about: the Nintendo DS is in the lead – or so says Joystiq. For what it's worth, I think the DS is a good choice because it does seem to offer exactly what it claims to do – and I've yet to really hear a bad thing said about it.
