It’s Extreme!

If for some reason you find yourself stuck in a high temperature, high moisture environment (like, say, New York City in July) with a need to transfer files (like, say, in a dark alley in New York City in July, transfering the pictures you just took of the drunk socialite onto a computer with a wireless connection so you can get them to your editor and on to the front page of tomorrow's paper without them getting confiscated by the socialite's Bodyguard), you might want to check out Corsair's line of USB drives, the Flash Voyager (sounds like a super hero, doesn't it). The newest member of the line sports 8 gigs of space for $160 and holds up Corsair's claim of a water- and temperature-resistant flash drive. Sounds like a gimmick to me (are you really going to go throw your drive in the water, for example), but I suppose if it protects your data that one time when disaster strikes, it's worth a look.
