i.Tech Virtual Keyboard

The i.Tech Virtual Keyboard is possibly the coolest keyboard for your PDA or cell phone I have seen. The cool part about the i.Tech Virtual Keyboard is that it is... well virtual.
Sure you can already get decent keyboards
for your PDA, like the IR keyboards offered by Palm. I don't really consider those keyboards to be small. To me if it is larger than the PDA it is supposed to work with, there is a problem.
Enter the i.Tech Virtual Keyboard that measures in at a paltry 90 x 34 x 24 mm. The i.Tech Virtual Keyboard is available in two styles, corded and Bluetooth. Both styles of the i.Tech Virtual Keyboard project the same full size keyboard onto any flat surface.
The manufacturer claims that the i.Tech Virtual Keyboard will detect up to 400 characters per second and has an effective keystroke of 2mm. The Bluetooth version has a rated battery life of less than 120 minutes.
The images of the i.Tech Virtual Keyboard I have seen appear to be shot in both dark and bright environments so hopefully that will mean it works in bright rooms or outdoors. I have my suspicions that it may not be cut out for use in brightly lit rooms out out in the sun, but I won't be sure until I can test the i.Tech Virtual Keyboard out.
I contacted the manufacturer, i.Tech, for a review unit back in November and they agreed to send one. Naturally, it has not arrived yet so stay tuned, if they follow through I will give you a review of the i.Tech Virtual Keyboard in action.
UPDATE:I spoke to i.Tech today and they said they had shipped the Bluetooth Virtual Keyboard to me already and it should be here next week. It's in the mail... we shall see they told me that two months ago. :) Anyway, perhaps I will have a review unit next week so stay tuned.
