Looking a cross between an 80s ghetto blaster and the deadly artificially intelligent computer from DemonSeed, I*magine is a fancy designer media center PC that is sure to wow people that come over to your house, especially when you order it around with voice commands.

Due to hit the shelves in Q4 of this year, and retailing for a wallet-bashing $4999 this won't be everyone. But it is a beautiful and well-featured piece of kit that is going to appeal to well-to-do gadget fiends. Julie Jacobson at CEDIAnews writes:
Classy.

"It looks like a boom box, but it's a full Windows Media Center PC with a 7-inch touchscreen and all the bells and whistles of a traditional Media Center.
You can lay the machine horizontally, like an oversized Roku, or mount it vertically on a stand like a tower speaker.
The unit has an Intel Core2 Duo processor and runs Vista Premium. Naturally you can use the Media Center interface, but Moneual has its own multimedia interface as well.
Out of the box, the I*magine is voice controllable via a Bluetooth headset."
Classy.
