iPod Radio Remote - iFM and Garmin nüvi 350 at PCMag

PCMag has some nice reviews today, starting with the iPod Radio Remote - iFM. Like I said many times before, I think a radio transmitter should be a must in all the portable audio players including cellphones. Too bad that Apple doesn't think alike, and probably will never include a self-built radio with the iPods...
This adapter costs $49.99 and Mike Kobrin rated it as excellent, marking a small contra in fashion views - the iFM doesn't come in black. If you give more points for usability then 'design', the other point that should be deducted is the "incompatibility with the current generation of Apple's player".

The other review talks about a GPS gadget, maybe it's not as hot as the XRadio-Paris, but it's still worth a look. The Garmin
nüvi 350 made by Garmin costs around $740 (at DigitallyUnique), or more depending on the extra-features you want. For $75 you'll get an optional language, and throw more $75 for Travel Guides.
Good features I like (read the full review for more info):
- Measures 3.9 by 2.9 by 0.9 inches and weighing in at just over 5 ounces
- Optional GTM10 traffic receiver
- Good pedestrian navigation profile in one of the world's most challenging environments
- Easy to use
My only dislike is not being able to play MP3s, but that's not something to worry about when all the other functions are pretty good.
