iPod Battery

iPod Battery

Tired of charging your iPod batteries and having no more than a couple hours, or even minutes of playback time? Me too… Just kidding, I don't have an iPod.

Here's the deal, Sonnet has some good batteries up for sale that will make the playtime go up for +20 hours (or so they say). Available for all the generations of the iPod at a low price, this is the perfect gift for your cousin that has an iPod with a badass battery

It seems replacing batteries in an iPod is not so easy, so they also include specialized tools and instructions (video instructions), in the package.

For the 1st and 2nd Generation of iPods the battery will cost $39.95, for the rest it's $29.95 – Order at Sonnet Store

Take a look at how different the playtime is with the Sonnet Battery in this graphic, and learn more about the batts here:

Brilliant, this will please a LOT of people. Although if you open the iPod yourself and replace the existing battery, won’t that void your warranty? I’m sure the disclaimer says any tampered with iPod’s are no longer covered? Hmm..

Nice observation about the warranty issue, I’ll try to look into that and reply later.
