Invisible Speakers by Olivier Hennessy
My new house has a sound system throughout the house with speakers in the wall. The speakers do not look particularly offensive to me, but the speakers do protrude out the walls a little.

Consider these "invisible" speakers from Olivier Hennessy, specifically the Architectural Series Z8F. They mount flush with the wall. They have no grille, unlike the speakers I have in my house. All you see is the 8 inch (203mm) woofer, 4 inch (102mm) midrange and 1 inch (25mm) dome.

I have no idea what these beryllium speaker cones do for sound quality, but they sure look pretty.
