Internet Gets Reinvented June 16th Thanks to Opera

"With 15 years of continuous innovation, Opera will introduce a technology that will forever change the fundamental fabric of the Web,"
Now, that's a tease. If you haven't already heard, the Internet gets reinvented on June 16th thanks the engineers over at Opera. Not content to just sit around and announce blazing fast browsers like Opera 10, theNorwegian geniuses are up to something that they be live will change the Internet for ever and ever. I can only assume they are talking about more than a new browser feature or supped up codec support.
"We've put the Internet on a USB stick, so that you can always have a connection wherever you are!"
That is the quote from a recent 'Tweet from Opera browser designer Jon Hicks. Their announcement does include a cloud, with a bit of lighting. That would cause me to assume that they are talking about some new way of cloud computing or cloud storage that will cache and speed things up remarkably. Maybe, just maybe it is aprotocol that tracks your browsing habits and secretly caches your frequent websites even when you are not browsing and then allows you to view it later. I am thinking a "Google Gears" for the entireInternet.
What ever they have planned, Opera will make their announcement in a video conference. As soon as the Internet is reinvented, I will reinvent this post and let you know what the reinvention was. Check back later if you can; let's hope the newInternet still works like the old one.
