Intel’s Next Generation Chips Enter Production

Intel, the market leader in microchip processor technology, has confirmed rumors of production of its next-generation 32-nanometer desktop and laptop processors.
A total of 17 new chips along with three new chipsets and seven devoted to providing Wi-Fi and WiMax support should begin hitting shelves shortly after the Holidays.
Codenamed Westmere, all the new products are constructed using Intel's next-generation 32-nanometer technology.
This new batch of CPUs are set to be incorporated across some 400 separate designs (ranging from low-end, mainstream to high-end desktops and laptops).
