The cellphone vending machine concept started on the UK with the QuickPhone (if I'm not mistaken) and Motorola decided to adapt the same system recently and has presented some InstantMoto machines on 20 locations around the US with Chicago being of one of them featuring 3 vending machines.
At first there will be 12 phones and 18 accessories available for purchase on the "robotic" stores as Motorola likes to call them, but more can be added in the near future if things go as planned, one particularity is the delivery system which is made by a robotic arm.
