Insignia Pilot
I had a chance to try out the Pilot Portable Media Player from Insignia, and found it an enjoyable experience. The Pilot went from out-of-the-box to software downloading to practical use in just a few minutes.
The features of the Insignia Pilot include 4 to 8 GB of memory and a 2.4 display. It can play audio files such as MP3 and WMA, as well as video files like MPEG-4 and WMV. It also has an FM tuner, voice recorder, and photo viewer.
You may notice that the Pilot resembles another popular PMP that has a capital "P" in it. However, this one has a screen that is Sideways, and its clicker wheel has some spots with lights on it. So Apple has no right to sue over this one.
